We are seeking a forward-thinking Sr. Manager, Global Store Design – (New Concept)
The designer position is responsible for supporting the creative development, evolution, adoption adaptation and execution of Concept Design & Design Standards for a dedicated role of a globally scalable new retail concept in both delivery and rollout preparation, and will support internal coordination. The Designer will work along a team of experienced architects and diverse designers in the creation of innovative new Retail Concepts, Store Formats and Branded Experiences for our Foot Locker banner in all geographies.
The Sr. Manager will report to the Director of Global Store Design. The position functions in a Shared Services role supporting all design concepts for all divisions/brands globally. This position works cross functionally with Visual Merchandising, Operations, Optimization, Digital and Marketing.

- Create presentation level visualization, renderings and drawings as needed.
- Create award winning new omni channel retail concepts & experiences.
- Deliver best of class design for high profile prototype stores on time and within assigned budget.

- Protects each concept and each brand’s design integrity by providing high detail design direction for clear guidelines, standards, and criteria by which the Store Design Team can effectively implement into the architectural plans process.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing trade show, exhibitions, retail or hospitality environment
- Interest in the next generation of visualization of designed environments and experiences: AR & VR
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite
- Sketchup & Vray or other Hi-res rendering engine experience
- Hand drawing and sketching skills are highly valued. (understanding space); experience with Pens, pencils and tracing paper
- Experience in shop drawing reviews.
- Organizational skills; attention to detail
- Retail experience highly preferred
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- General understanding of building codes & environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and build effective working relationships.
- Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments.
- Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
- Time management, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Ability to confidently lead work groups of internal stakeholders including visual merchandising, operations, marketing, merchants, it, security and leadership.

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $100000 – $120000 /yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. *As a temporary position, this position is excluded from any benefits or vacation time.*
