Lucid Motors is seeking a motivated and experience Warranty Manager for the Service organization. This role will manage and continuously improve Lucid’s warranty policies with a focus on customer experience and cost management. A successful Warranty Manager will have an automotive background, analytical, detail-oriented and can build strong relationships with our field teams but also cross-functional operation leaders.

The Role:

    • Oversee the creation of a uniform customer experience by administrating Lucid Motors’ warranty policy in a transparent and fair process
    • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to establish guidelines for warranty coverages, good-will policy and implement recommendations for continuous improvement
    • Collaborate with the regional field teams to administer and publish business operational policy and procedures
    • Coordinate with Compliance and Quality team to ensure successful activities for warranty campaigns, field returns and analytics for cost recovery from suppliers
    • Advise Finance and operation teams to mitigate loss and improve accuracy on warranty reserves
    • Provide technical guidance from an automotive perspective to improve procedures
    • Maintain, audit, and communicate program metrics through analytical reporting, not limited to program trends, accounting dispositions, opportunities, etc.
    • Provide recommendations and implement policy & procedure changes in a dynamic EV/automotive environment

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5+ years of experience in automotive warranty or related service industry
    • Start-Up, New Product or Strategy launce is preferred
    • Ability to organize and drive continuous improvement
    • Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $138,000-$198,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
