Develop, test, integrate and lead the production implementation and support phases of the software development lifecycle. Develop and build cloud-ready, highly usable, and scalable Java, Spring Boot Micro Services applications on the PCF PaaS platform and troubleshoot production issues. Research, build, test, and iterate on a DevOps build and CI/CD delivery pipeline for various components of the enterprise system including Production and Non-Production Servers. Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define the strategy and scope of software requirements (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks). Partner with scrum masters and product owners to analyze user needs and develop software solutions by providing development sizing & cost analysis estimates. Lead code reviews and mentor junior team members in designing solutions. Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans. Automate the process by using sophisticated Devops tools and technologies like Jenkins, Bamboo and BitBucket (GIT) over Cloud PaaS Platform and reduce the deployment time.
Position allows for 100% remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Lone Tree, CO. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
What you have
Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field. Requires 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices application development and Cloud deployment over distributed systems; NoSQL MongoDB , SQL, PLSQL, RDBMS including Oracle, DB2, and Redis Cache; Develop SOAP (JAX-WS), RESTful (JAX-RS) Web Services, XML and JSON; Cloud technologies (PCF, AWS) and cloud concepts, deploying and managing applications on PCF cloud platform, AWS Fargate clusters, Load Balancers, API Gateway; RabbitMQ, Kafka, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, Sonar Quality Gate,Twistlock, Checkmarx, and Splunk; and Agile Methodologies (Technical Story Creation, Sprint Planning, Edit and Manage Stories in Jira Agile boards, Backlog Grooming, Retrospective Meetings, and Program Increment (PI) Planning).

Colorado Compensation:
Target Total Compensation – $139,984 – $246,800 per year.
