The Sub Same Day Operations teams sits within the broader Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) organization, with a mission to rapidly expand and provide an ultra fast shopping experience for customers in North America. This Sr Manager role will lead the SSD Delivery Ops Excellence team, and be responsible for network delivery cost and customer experience. We are looking for an experience Supply Chain leaders that thrives in fast paced/high growth environments, has strong communication skills, has a strong delivery record of leading cross functional programs, and has experience setting up scalable mechanisms to achieve key business goals.
Key job responsibilities
– Manage a team of 10+ program managers
– Establish and review daily and weekly mechanisms on last mile business performance
– Develop and maintain the SSD strategy and roadmap for improving last mile delivery cost and quality
– Build and maintain relationships with cross functional teams including Amazon Flex, Finance, Delivery Ops Tech, and Field Operations
– Communicate business performance to key Director and VP leaders
– Develop team mechanisms and process that will scale the business by 3x over the next 3 years

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of team management experience
– 7+ years of supply chain experience
– MBA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience delivering cross functional projects
– Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
– Experience defining and executing program requirements
– Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
– Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market.
