This key role acts as the “megaphone” for our Energy Performance Services business as well as our other building infrastructure businesses, in the United States, enhancing our reputation and achieving measurable outcomes by driving awareness, perception, and preference. As a member of the Smart Infrastructure Communications Business Partner team, this individual contributor will be responsible for strategy development, execution, and measurement across the full communications mix in support of marketing objectives and the long-term strategy for Energy Performance Services as well as our other building infrastructure businesses.
The Energy Performance Services organization is the Smart Infrastructure expert on and provider of sustainability, energy efficiency and distributed energy offerings with capabilities to address enterprise, national and local customers; solve critical customer needs with flexible portfolio and scalable approach; and provide customers with turnkey solutions that address both infrastructure and financing throughout the lifecycle of their facilities. These offerings are increasingly delivered “as a service” leveraging cloud-enabled AI software. This position will support this business and other building infrastructure businesses.
You will make impact with the following responsibilities:
Digital Channel Management: partner with marketing and business leaders to develop and execute campaigns across multiple digital channels (product/service and/or account-based campaign)
- Website / Landing Pages
- SEO
- Paid Search
- Advertising Strategy
- Media partnerships
- Organic social media (with social media)
External thought leadership and content programming: collaborate with marketing to design and execute a marcom strategy that influences external audiences.
- Annual Strategic Comms Planning with Marketing
- Co-development of overall umbrella narrative with Marketing, including how EPS and other building infrastructure businesses support digitalization and sustainability.
- Work with Media Relations, position leaders in thought leadership roles (speaking engagements, interviews, panels, etc) that support the broader narrative or the specific products/solutions that are the focus on the campaigns.
- Execute email campaigns working with Marketing and Global Marketing Services.
- Capture, create, and publish customer success stories leveraging digital tactics across multiple channels:
- Case References presentations and reports
- Videos and webinar stories
- Social Media
- Work with Marketing and Media Relations to create white papers, brochures, infographics and other digital assets highlighting new services and solutions
- Event and tradeshow program management
- Overall project management of national events within the Energy Performance Services and building infrastructure space.
- Collaborate with senior executives to develop and execute client hospitality functions
- Budget alignment, management
- Monthly metrics reporting
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
- 5-7 years successfully performing the planning, directing, executing of communications to internal and external stakeholder.
- BA in communications/marketing or related field
- The individual should be able to take a topic and drive it from beginning to end. A self-starter, but a collaborative partner. Someone who is highly organized, driven, curious and EXCITED!
- Proven communications skills with a demonstrated ability to research, analyze, plan, and execute in the areas of message development, strategic planning, demand generation campaign development and execution, employee communications, meetings management, and communications effectiveness measurement.
- Experience with social media tools and digital marketing and communications platforms
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and networking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong teaming skills including cross-cultural abilities.
- Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Organizational skills and project management experience
- Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
- Ability and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
- Domestic Travel 10%

- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Solid computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under time constraints with multiple projects

- The pay range for this position is $104,000 – $122,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location
