The Krusteaz Company is looking to add a Senior Engineer Manager to the team! This position will be responsible for supporting the engineering functions of all Krusteaz Company manufacturing operations to include capital planning, project execution, engineering, maintenance, and new product and process development support. This position will drive excellence in capital and project management along with improving Early Management systems (EM Pillar) in support of world-class Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

- Ensure safety is a top priority in all engineering and maintenance initiatives.
- Ensure product safety, sanitary design, performance against product design, and TPM principles are built into all relevant capital projects.
- Drive enhanced effectiveness in developing scope and sourcing of new breakthrough capabilities and technologies supporting Krusteaz Company new product and innovation objectives.
- Objectively outline technical challenges and business risks associated with innovative technologies and potential solutions.
- Identify multiple technical options to address business objectives and work across functions to select optimal solutions.
- Engage technical and business functions in brainstorming activities to identify breakthrough improvement opportunities in supply chain cost. Follow through to develop justification for funding and execution where appropriate.
- Partner with R&D, Sales, and Marketing on new product, process, packaging, and ingredient ideation.
- Serve as Project Manager on priority initiatives.
- Ensure all capital projects are properly staffed and provide project management oversight through regularly scheduled on-site project review meetings.
- Ensure desired business outcomes and project objectives are clearly defined and communicated to key stakeholders and team members.
- Provide matrix leadership to the Plant Engineering Managers to support plant engineering and maintenance activities.
- Provide on-site Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) development training as needed at all sites to ensure quality and consistency.
- Provide leadership and definition for the development of key capital projects and CARs for all sites to deliver projects that are on time, on budget, with vertical startups.
- Monitor the health of each facility and associated infrastructure equipment during regularly scheduled visits.
- Provide a support role in the development of annual plant budgets.
- Assist in the coaching and development of the plant technical organizations. Build skills over time through solid training and development programs, project assignments, and recruiting.
- Responsible to drive optimization of the production process to reduce costs yet deliver maximum flexibility.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external companies that can supplement Krusteaz Company resources to provide engineering solutions, resources, and equipment as needed.
- Provide troubleshooting and optimization direction as required for co-packers producing Krusteaz products.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work a flexible work schedule.
Education and/or Experience:
- College degree in manufacturing, engineering or food processing field, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of successful managerial experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience in variety of manufacturing areas (packaging, processing, utilities) within consumer products. Food background preferred.

Salary Information:
- An employee in this position can expect a salary range between $122,726 and $202,486. We typically pay between $130,000 and $175,000. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
