Job Summary
We are looking for a IACUC Coordinator to join our Insourcing Solutions team located in South San Francisco, CA.

What you will do!
In this role, you will provide administrative and clerical support for the functioning of the Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). You will handle secretarial, clerical, organizational and administrative support duties and provide coordination and planning/scheduling of activities. Interact with research staff to help solve requests and concerns as needed. Maintain the calendar, coordinate and attend IACUC meetings, prepare meeting agendas, prepare for site inspections, and AAALAC inspections. Set appointments and keep a central calendar of key dates for group projects. Track the protocols, amendments, annual reviews, and provide other reports and services.
Who are we looking for?
A candidate that possesses a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school is required. A minimum of 1-year experience working in project management or administrative support is required. Experience with IACUC protocols and inspections preferred. Experience working in an animal program supporting veterinary staff or scientists is preferred. Background in compliance or in vivo research is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. AALAS certification at the Assistant Technician level (ALAT) preferred.
The pay range for this position is $28.50-35.75 per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
