Sr. Mgr, Supply Chain Operations

The Krusteaz Company is looking for a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Operations to join the team! The Supply Chain Sr. Manager of Operations is designed to provide increased capacity, flexibility, clarity, and precision within the The Krusteaz Company Supply Chain. The work of this role will serve to strengthen support of existing and evolving internal and external customers. This position is accountable for supporting the development and implementation of key strategies impacting the entire Supply Chain Team at The Krusteaz Company. Responsibilities include understanding and supporting Procurement, Co-Man, Transportation, Distribution, Customer Service, Supply Chain Planning, and Project Management areas with a focus on aligning the processes, tools, and systems to the evolving strategy and demands of the company. This role will be a part of the Supply Chain Leadership team and will help drive continuous improvement efforts within the organization. This role will have the unique ability to gather perspective from all of the functions within the organization and provide insights on how we can create a stronger team and a more unified approach.

Essential Functions: Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time. Major responsibilities for this position will vary over time, but will be initially focused on some or all of the following key areas:

  • Lead Supply Chain efforts on key company projects that require new tools/processes for the area, including both internal projects and needed support of product development projects. These may include internal (to Supply Chain) project leadership, initial “hunting” for solutions, or support of other Supply Chain managers in their efforts.
  • Development and maintenance of new tools to support continuous improvement efforts within Supply Chain, including leadership of Cost Reduction efforts.
  • In collaboration with Sales & Marketing, PMO, and Demand Planning teams, streamline and clarify communications and process for demand signals for both new and existing products.
  • Support of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiative; forecasting, and budgeting; and related efforts where needed.
  • Develop and manage contract management process for Supply Chain team to include tracking of key data. Create guidelines for how we review, identify risk, and respond to contracts, including potential use of contract management systems
  • Develop internal IS process and/or systems to support new and ongoing needs, including how we can better utilize existing data.
  • Work with the functions to identify key gaps in processes/data that can better support their roles.

  • Commodity experience (procurement/risk management) is a plus.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate level degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 year’s progressive work experience with consumer goods or the food industry.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone along with reaching. Specific vision abilities include close vision requirements due to computer work. Moderate noise, ability to work in a confined area, and ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time are also included. Ability to effectively communicate and work in a dynamic environment.

Salary Information:

  • An employee in this position can expect a salary range between $122,726 and $202,486. We typically pay between $138,000 and $176,000. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
