As a Senior National Sales Executive, you will be responsible for leading and developing our customer & bottler partnerships on the Sodexo National Account Team. This role will build out long term strategic as well as annual business plans, marketing initiatives, and manage the execution of critical in-store tactical plans. You will work with a cross-functional team, to drive beverage growth, consumer marketing programs, ensure execution of marketing and beverage initiatives and provide analysis and stewardship of results. Responsible for new business acquisition, issue resolution as well as delivery of contractual commitments. Align Coca-Cola System in support of customer expansion and execution.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Develop short and/or long-term business plans and help co-author strategic marketing plans. Identify business objectives, strategies, key initiatives, and performance measures based on overall customer and company objectives. Sell in of key initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional team to ensure flawless execution of annual beverage business plan. Responsibilities include implementation of volume and brand building programs, tracking the business performance, budget management, resolution of customer issues and stewarding of results to customer and North America OU management.
- Lead contract and product category negotiations with customer, gain alignment across system for deal structure
- Build strong collaboration with the key customer personnel and CCNA Teams to develop and execute programs that deliver on the customer strategy and consumer objectives for both the customer and the company.
- Analyze business performance and develop strategic business initiatives to close gaps and grow the size and value of the customers beverage category.
Qualification & Requirements
Education Requirements: BS/BA (or equivalent); Preferred Level: MS/MA/MBA (or equivalent)
Related Work Experience:
Minimum Required: 5+ years of customer leadership experience; Preferred Level 7+ years
Minimum Required: 3+ years of marketing experience; Preferred Level 7+ years
Minimum Required: Experience leading complex negotiations
Minimum Required: Experience managing total portfolio
Functional Skills:
- Advancing the Customer Relationship: Ability to facilitate and accelerate the business relationship based upon an understanding of the customer. Includes the ability to actively listen and engage in conversation with customers to uncover relevant information, resources and solutions.
- Marketing Operating Strategies: Knowledge of and ability to apply basic marketing operating strategies (e.g., pricing strategies, trade/consumer programs and promotions) used in the execution of marketing plans.
- Business Planning Development and Analysis including sell in of key business plan initiatives: Ability to develop and implement strategic annual business plans as well as track and forecast business results throughout the year.
- Contract Procedures: Knowledge of contract procedures, negotiations, and Coca-Cola system approval processes. Ability to understand and interpret customer contracts.
- System Knowledge: Knowledge of and ability to leverage our total system (foodservice, bottler, supply chain, brand, marketing) to identify customer opportunities, implement solutions and resolve issues as they arise.
Base Salary: $134,312 to $164,850
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, are offered.
Travel – Approximately 25%
