Sr. Outbound Product Manager, AWS Support Product Team

The Outbound Product Manager at AWS Support will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products in the market. This role is primarily responsible for understanding market needs, working closely with sales and marketing teams, crafting compelling messaging, and executing product launch strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in Outbound Product Management or Business Development working with Senior Sales, Marketing and Product Leaders to drive revenue growth. This person must have strong written and verbal communications skills, the ability to influence others, a passion for product and sales and strong cross-functional leadership.

• Product Launch & Positioning: Develop and execute product launch strategies, and create compelling product messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates our products in the market.
• Sales Process: Co-own goals around Sales Pipeline, conversion and revenue with sales and product teams. Provide feedback to improve the Sales Process.
• Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create sales collateral and tools, and provide training to ensure a successful go-to-market strategy.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape, and provide actionable insights to shape product strategy and positioning.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers, partners, and industry influencers to gather feedback and promote our products effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, and other internal teams to align goals and drive successful product execution.

A day in the life of an Outbound Product Manager is working with stakeholders of our Go-to-market team, Deals, Finance , Delivery teams to build the playbooks and strategy that scales product adoption.

The AWS Premium Support product team manages the strategy for AWS’s Support and Managed Service Offerings. The team is responsible for defining new support and managed services products, customer experiences, pricing, and financials. We keep iterating on products and services to help customers achieve their goals on AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

– 5+ years of professional or military experience

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

– Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
