Senior Paralegal
Victra is seeking a Senior Paralegal, Litigation and Labor and Employment with strong business acumen who will be a key member of the team responsible for the legal department’s litigation and labor and employment work. This position reports directly to the company’s Vice-President, Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Labor and Employment. This position is a hybrid work-location role: meaning that this position is based out of the company’s Raleigh Corporate Office and will work both in-person and remotely based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Senior Paralegal, Litigation and Labor and Employment, you will work within a corporate culture where Performance, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Celebration are the mantras of success. In this role, you will:
• Assist in managing all litigation, complaints, claims and disputes.
• Maintain case management software, invoices, and the litigation docket.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and investigate employment-related matters.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents as required, including but not limited to severance agreements, subpoenas, discovery and discovery responses, position statements, and litigation hold notices.
• Develop standard work and processes to operate more efficiently.
• Embrace any and all other tasks that may be needed to get the job done.
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years’ combined experience in a similar function at a law firm or in a corporate in-house legal department; in-house experience preferred.
• Experience investigating claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation and involvement with wage and hour and other employment-related disputes.
• Experience with litigation holds and e-discovery.
• Willingness and ability to move quickly and juggle competing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple business lines using strong leadership skills to engage multiple levels of the organization.
• A commitment to, and experience in, process improvement protocols and systems.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional business acumen, analytical ability, and people skills.
• A leader-first mentality.
• Wireless and/or retail experience preferred but not required.
Salary Range: $86,212 – $113,370
