Sr Partner Sales Leader, US NPO HEALTHCARE

AWS is looking for an experienced partner leader to manage the team that helps nonprofit healthcare providers to discover and adopt AWS cloud solutions.

As a the senior leader of Nonprofit Healthcare Partner Sales, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share of Amazon Web Services and grow adoption of cloud-based solutions with Nonprofit Healthcare Providers. In the role, you will establish and maintain sales and alliance relationships with strategic Healthcare Technology and Consulting partners that include ISVs, Systems Integrators (SIs), Resellers, and Managed Solutions Providers (MSPs) to drive AWS services revenue and acquire new customers. You will create and execute partner strategy and workstreams, lead the partner success managers aligned to NPH, and advocate for the nonprofit business within AWS and with associated partner teams. You will engage with your team and the Nonprofit Healthcare sales team in creating and closing opportunities that drive AWS revenue growth and overall market adoption with AWS customers. The senior leader of Partner Sales possesses both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales executives to support the AWS and Partner sales processes. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. The position also requires some technical acumen, along with working knowledge of software architecture and the enterprise software landscape.

Key job responsibilities

– Own the execution of the partner development strategy for the Nonprofit Healthcare Provider business.

– Develop a growing team of professionals ensuring the team operates efficiently and collaboratively, with clearly defined goals and responsibilities to drive “selling with” partners that are cloud focused or specialized to Healthcare Provider use cases.

– Represent Nonprofit Healthcare within AWS and externally, participate in partner events to deliver thought leadership on how AWS builds and enables partners.

– Work with cross functional teams to create and execute a strategic business plan, business model development, and marketing and sales initiatives on solutions that meet the customer needs with measurable ROI.

– Engage with AWS partner, sales, and business development teams to support the growth of partners.

– Manage and develop multiple C-level relationships across a wide range of key partners within the healthcare industry.

– Drive efficiencies and operation improvements across the partner management function and be an active voice for change and improvement.

– Participate in complex contract negotiations involving legal, marketing and business terms.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design/Development, or related field.

– 10+ years of experience in an enterprise sales or business development role with a proven track record of developing new go-to-market strategies and delivering results by exceeding revenue growth targets

– 7+ years of experience managing a team of sales, partner or business development professionals for fast growing technology solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– The candidate must be a proven leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus, credibility, and articulate recommendations to senior executives.

– Knowledge and experience working with the healthcare partner landscape (ISVs, G/SIs), regulatory requirements (e.g. HIPAA), and solutions relating to healthcare

– A strong understanding of AWS services and the value proposition of cloud computing to healthcare provider customers.

– Experience in large complex strategic deal negotiations with a successful track record of results.

– Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.

– Demonstrated ability to lead others independently and autonomously in a highly ambiguous environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
