Summary:
Goldbelt, Inc. is looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator who is a subject matter expert in Costpoint. This position requires in-depth hands-on experience with CostPoint, consisting of creating timesheet schedules, leave accrual schedules, employee classes, auditing timesheets, troubleshooting and more. This position will utilize Deltek Costpoint applications to set-up/maintain projects and manage contracts, to include time and expenses, for a variety of contract types, while supervising a team of payroll processors.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Work with end-users to develop Excel templates that can be used for importing data using Costpoint preprocessors/copy-paste
- Work with users to troubleshoot problems with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Time and Expense, and open support tickets with Deltek for further escalation
- Ensure proper onboarding of new hires and offboarding of terminations
- Performs tasks to maintain employee records and pay employees accurately
- Process immediate pay for employees as needed
- Review/process and audit timekeeping records for compliance
- Import timecard data into Costpoint
- Add additional earnings (bonus/COLA/hazard pay) into Costpoint as needed
- Process routine labor and payroll for multiple companies
- Prepare and review labor reports for accuracy / work with management to correct labor discrepancies and assist with employee time management
- Download standard payroll reports and run custom written reports as required
- Process/audit leave accruals
- Supervise team of payroll processors
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Subject matter expert Deltek Costpoint 8 and T&E 10
- Strong accounting skills
- Detail-oriented, Demonstrated error-free work
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Critical thinking skills along with sound judgement and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to evaluate processes and procedures to create efficiencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related field of study
- 8-10 years of payroll processing experience
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Costpoint support and administration required
- Experience using Business Intelligence Cognos user/writer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- FPC or CPP
- Payroll Tax, SIT/SUI/Local tax setup
- Multi-company Costpoint experience
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now
- Service Contract Act and Davis Bacon Act Experience
The maximum salary for this position is $94,000/yr.
