At Jacobs, we don’t settle – always looking beyond to raise the bar and deliver with excellence. We apply our expertise and knowledge as we look into the future with great optimism and focus. We don’t settle until we give our best and know that we’re making a difference.
Join us and you’ll have the chance to both support and lead projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. At Jacobs, we’re transforming intangible ideas into innovative solutions designing the future – today. As a Senior Plumbing Design Technician, you will, too (position reports to Portland, OR office, but can be remote anywhere in the U.S).
You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skill level as you collaborate with a team of designers and engineers as a Subject Matter expert (SME). You’ll coordinate plumping fittings and pipe routing principles, space coordination requirements and develop schematics, plan drawings and installation details. You’ll help us engage with clients and subcontractors as you design and draft plumbing systems for the construction of our client’s advanced facilities. Working with the other members of our team, you’ll perform a variety of design tasks in the initial planning and design of equipment, systems, and processes.
