Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Great Jones (full-service property management), Stessa (financial management software) to empower customers with a seamless way to acquire, manage, and track their investment properties on one platform, and Rent Prep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords).

We have an opportunity for a Data Product Manager whose primary focus will be building reliable data and API infrastructure to support our internal and external customers. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to ensure our data structures, processes, and services support the business. a technical background and experience creating platform products, API’s, and reporting applications. Finally, you are excited about developing innovative data solutions to improve investment performance and decision-making. Help Roofstock identify the best use of data, for internal and external customers, and define how to get there. Align the data initiatives to develop common infrastructure and reduce duplicate efforts among teams.

What you will do:

    • Understand and align data needs of multiple related business units
    • Lead the effort to clearly define and document data contracts among teams
    • Identify solutions that minimize data downtime due to partial, erroneous, missing, and inaccurate data
    • Be the expert on data flow and pipeline processes
    • Understand, document, and support other product managers and engineers’ data needs
    • Data Technology Knowledge
    • Support company data governance and compliance needs
    • Evaluate technology and external data products
    • Create, measure, and demonstrate business value with metrics and KPIs

What you bring with you:

    • 5+ years of technical product management experience
    • Strong SQL skills are required
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple data stakeholders
    • Engage and empathize with internal and external customers
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prototype rapidly, and meet deadlines
    • Structured product thinking and effective organization of tasks to deliver on product deadlines
    • Strong analytical abilities and can leverage data to inform and support critical decisions
    • Get-stuff-done attitude, great positive energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong understanding of API’s and software-as-a-service or cloud-based technology architecture
    • Working knowledge of data and analytics ecosystems on leading public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP

$170,000 – $210,000 a year

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, education/training, business needs, market demands, and geographical location.
