Amazon’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is looking for a leader to join our team as a Sr. Product Manager, Supply Chain Innovation. The position is designed to ideate, implement, and create cutting edge supply chain products and solutions that would create seamless flow of packages across Amazon Supply Chain. This is a high impact role with an opportunity to influence one of the most high visibility and high impact areas.
This Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for developing and owning new connectivity solutions to improve inventory placement in Amazon’s inbound network. You will partner with stakeholders across supply chain, Retail/FBA, research science, products/programs, and tech to define, evaluate, and communicate the long-term inbound connectivity designs. You will propose and launch connectivity experiments, measure initiatives’ impacts, drive roadmaps and trade-off discussions, and manage the program end-to-end to move the network towards its long-term connectivity vision.
The ideal candidate demonstrates proven product management rigor and enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and communicates in a clear and succinct manner to stakeholders at all levels. This person will be highly analytical, comfortable with navigating systems, and self-directed when handling ambiguity to deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
– Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals, and execution.
– Build new mechanisms to enable coordination and scale for initiatives within Supply Chain Innovation Org.
– Ensure implementation is aligned with program goals and requirements; make necessary adjustments.
– Act as customer proxy to test and measure against success criteria.
– Partner with teams across numerous organizations to set and deliver ambitious goals.
– Define metrics to be tracked and own audit of program performance.
– Identify process gaps through deep dive of metrics and make operational improvements (e.g., automation, self-service, etc.).
About the team
Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) identify, evaluate, and lead Inbound Supply Chain initiatives, and scale them to improve end to end cost, speed, and network resiliency. For initiatives with high impact and broad scope with no clear line of ownership, we provide leadership to develop, trial, and scale solutions to full network implementation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with end to end product delivery
– Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience as a product manager or owner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
– Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
– Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
