Sr. Product Manager – Tech, Candidate Experience and Technology

We are bringing Amazon’s trademarks (big ideas, tech, and customer obsession!) to recruiting at Amazon. Come help us hire the best, raise the bar on science-driven recruitment, and help candidates (people like you!) find their next amazing opportunity.

Amazon Recruiting Technology is seeking a driven, results and business-oriented product and tech leader to join our expanding team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes working at scale and puts big data to work. The right candidate enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts, and above all else, is passionate about building innovative solutions and developing talent.

In this role you will define the strategic vision for our candidate authentication platform and our candidate application products. You will own and manage the long-term roadmap, help evolve our product management practices, and drive teams towards achieving our NorthStar – help job seekers everywhere in the world, find and connect with the best employment opportunity for them, no matter where they are in their journey. This role will define the best candidate experience based on our tenets to ensure candidates feel seen and valued throughout their recruitment journey. This role is an individual contributor role.

Your partners are in place – a fully-funded tech team, a dedicated UX team, and a large team of researchers and scientists. You will own these partnerships and rally them to drive the lifecycle of a suite of products with considerable impact across Recruiting.

Key job responsibilities

– Define, own and drive the roadmap for our Candidate Application Portal and Authentication products such that it improves end-to-end candidate experience.

– Drive business and product goals that positively influence and impact candidates during their job seeking journey at Amazon.

– Translate product and business goals to metrics that measure both outcomes and results. These metrics must increase candidate engagement, improve our recruitment practices, support our stakeholders, and embody Amazon’s leadership principle to hire and develop the best.

– Support the larger Candidate Experience team in meeting stakeholder expectations.

– Define product line priorities and in turn help optimize our engineering team’s activities and productivity.

– Work with engineering, UX and research scientists to come up with effective solutions for old problems and innovate on new areas of opportunities in the recruitment and people experience space.
