Key job responsibilities
Device Operation’s PODIUM team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager – Technical to take the lead in building products and services in a growing and dynamic space. Leveraging a background in product innovation, execution, and analytics, you will identify forward thinking scalable solutions, and advocate for products across the organization. We work to develop software products that facilitate the planning, production, distribution, sales, and returns of Amazon Devices, guiding leaders and partners on strategy and prioritization.
As a Sr. Product Manager – Technical, you will:
– Identify opportunities for innovation, build and improve systems, while delivering for scale and complexity.
– Communicate and earn trust with our customers.
– Establish goals and metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.
– Define requirements based on knowledge of customers, devices business and supply chain processes.
– Communicate vision, roadmap, requirements, and initiatives through written narratives.
– Manage backlog trade-offs to ensure the team is working on the highest priority items.

About the team
PODIUM consists of related but divergent teams focused on delivery of business-driven software and data. The PODIUM team is comprised of data engineers, operations research scientists, user experience designers, product managers, and program managers. This org-wide group provides an end-to-end perspective of the software (SW) needs of Device Operations and works to ensure that SW designed and built for the entire org solves both the challenges of today and tomorrow.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience managing technical products or online services
– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
– 4+ years of experience in product management, focused on managing software products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
