Amazon’s Worldwide Employee Relations (ER) team is looking for a Product Manager Technical (PMT) with a demonstrated passion for building innovative new tools and processes for our Employees and Leaders. This role will primarily be focused on leading the vision, roadmap and use case of a vital Salesforce (SFDC) instance that supports multiple global People eXperience Technology (PXT) core processes that are critical to Amazon’s success.
Key job responsibilities
• Define Product Vision: Partner with stakeholders to define and maintain a Product vision and roadmap and drive the evaluation, selection, implementation, and evolution of technology solutions as needed
• Own and Drive the Product Roadmap: by creating the Product strategy for our portfolio applications, managing Product requests, and iterating on prioritization methods to provide leadership with clear business justification and communications.
• Own the Development and Deployment of a Tech platform: We leverage Salesforce to build our workflow and process off of, this PMT will have full product ownership of the instance while working directly with the Tech team manager.
• Build the Strongest Tech Team: Show how tech management should be done while leading a team of Developers through sprint and scrum based SDLC standard processes.
• Own Product Design & Development: Lead complex company-wide products through the full lifecycle of design, development and execution, ensuring their timely and effective delivery. Your work will encompass things like Product build/launch, continuous improvement of existing Product, establishing standard work and building reporting/analytics tools.
• Teach and Lead Product Management: Get hands on with; product roadmaps and plans, scheduling and planning, monitoring and status reporting against planned deliverables, benefits and milestones, resource and Product tracking, development and management of risk, issue and action logs, testing and rolling out the final Product, while bringing others on the team to your PM skill level.
• Build Analytics and Measurements: Possess exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings. Analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes that inform Product design. Measure outcomes and outputs of projects and process improvement endeavors. Leverage quantitative results to inform direction of the business.
• Obsess Over the Voice of the Employee and Managers: Develop a keen understanding of the voice of our Employees and managers. Combine data and anecdotes to develop perspective. Ensure perspective is at the forefront of Product development and deployment.
• Deliver Innovative Solutions: Challenge current practices and think outside the box to generate creative ways to scale ER Product and develop innovative solutions raise the bar and exceed the customer expectations.
• Drive Communication: Own communications to Product users and stakeholders that cut through the noise of competing requirements and facilitates action.
• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will partner with teams including technology, business and services organizations to bring solutions to life for Associates and teams. You will build collaborative, influential internal and external relationships with Operations and HR leaders and other critical stakeholders to gather information, feedback and earn support and necessary resources to design and deliver your Programs.
• Master of Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision; persevere in the face of internal and external barriers.
About the team
The Employee Relations team is responsible for the identification of defects in our employee experience across all roles in the WWC & Ops organization and beyond. Finding these defects is not enough though; we are tasked with building and deploying products, tools and solutions to remove these defects. Our products and programs are always changing and we continually innovate to transform and improve the employee experience. This position supports Amazon’s Worldwide Operations, Consumer and Corporate teams, and when we do our jobs well, we have a direct positive impact on the daily work of over 1.5m+ Amazonians.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience managing technical products or online services
– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
– Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
