Sr Product Manager Tech, Merch on Demand

Since launching in 2015, we have scaled our business across North America, Europe and Japan, including several types of apparel and retail products – and we’re just getting started. We empower content creators of all sizes, from amateur designers to large brands, to scale their merchandise sales globally without the constraints of managing inventory or a supply chain.

Who you are:

The right person for this role will have experience product managing warehouse management systems and related fulfillment tools. You expect online orders to arrive instantaneously and accept nothing less. You have a track record of working with software developers to define and build new tools that empower operators to efficiently receive, pick and ship orders to customers. You love building and inventing on behalf of customers.

Responsibilities:

– Establish product vision, goals and key business metrics/indicators (KPIs) for fulfillment tech

– Oversee user interface design, usability testing, customer research, metrics and data analysis

– Work cross-functionally with designers, software development engineers, finance, and operations on a rapid and iterative product development cycle

– Manage bottlenecks, resolve escalations, anticipate and make feature and resource trade-offs, balance the business needs against technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences

– Write and deliver business requirement documents and artifacts required to enable the team’s development of products, features and infrastructure

– Maintain and continuously prioritize backlog and roadmap based on data and customers’ needs

– Write narratives to advocate for and justify product launches / changes

– Plan and define the long term vision of your product areas of ownership

– Build and improve a working relationship with your partners and stakeholders

– Contribute to and develop the team’s processes/mechanisms

– Regularly participate in stand-ups, design reviews and other meetings with engineers, and contribute to the discussion to ensure a high quality bar

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

– Experience managing technical products or online services

– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

– Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
