Sr. Program Manager, Amazon Lending

Amazon Lending is seeking an innovative, customer-centric, and results-driven individual to join our US team as a Program Manager. This candidate will be responsible for running the 3rd party Lending program to solve small and medium-sized businesses’ challenges getting the capital they need to grow their businesses. To be successful in this position, the individual must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, highly demanding, and often ambiguous environment, while maintaining attention to detail. The preferred candidate will have experiences leading projects/programs with multiple internal & external stakeholders from inception to launch with demonstrated data-driven decision making. Above all, the successful candidate will have passion for Seller success.

Key job responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Innovate and design products that delight customers: Conduct customer research, identify gaps in product/experience offering, and design solutions that address unmet customer needs.
• Create and execute go-to-market plan for new products and features: Gather business requirements, build & deliver against the roadmap, and create & monitor meaningful KPIs.
• Lead external partner relations: Manage partner performance and customer experience, set objectives and success criteria, and drive towards operational excellence.
• Drive product awareness and adoption: Identify marketing opportunities and support the delivery of effective marketing campaigns with internal and external partners.
• Lead the day to day operations: Assess and manage risks, manage program P&L, monitor and report on progress with actionable insights, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, and provide escalation management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 5+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
  • 3+ years of leading large complex programs experience
  • 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
  • 5+ years of experience in effectively managing P&L, program root cause analysis, and financial forecasting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • 5+ years of working with external suppliers experience
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience advising and influencing internal and external senior stakeholders on business strategy, demonstrating ability to translate insights into clear and actionable business opportunities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
