Amazon Flex’s Compliance team is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead compliance programs. You will own programs from ideation through launch and support multiple billion-dollar businesses. You will partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, engineers and applied scientist to deliver innovative compliance programs.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager professional to lead multi-year programs from concept through execution. As AmazonFlex continues to scale, we will build new processes and tools to ensure compliance with laws wherever we operate. This Program Manager will work hand in hand with our Product Managers and Engineers to define and orchestrate work streams, timing, milestones, and communication plans. Compliance programs are rife with ambiguity, and we are looking for a leader who can embrace the challenge of solving complex problems that require consistent iteration and schedule refinement. This leader will facilitate the development of detailed project plans and timelines, ensure stakeholders are delivering to requirements, and drive leadership alignment and communication of our progress across teams.

The successful candidate will have strong Program Management skills, be highly collaborative, globally minded and have a high level of customer focus. You should be a motivated self-starter that works well with others in a dynamic, ambiguous environment. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work across countries and markets, dev teams, and with business owners to define and deliver improvements.

Key job responsibilities

This role requires partnership with stakeholders, execution of deep dive summary and key findings/insights for action, tracking of key priorities, follow up with stakeholders (and upward leadership communication).

Responsibilities
• Develop program vision and timelines, and gain buy-in for that vision across senior leadership
• Lead validation of ideas and feedback to refine the program vision
• Develop program governance
• Work across cross-functional project teams to enable the successful launch of the program
• Own and develop a communication plan that includes regular reviews with customers and leadership

A day in the life

This role will be global in nature and interact with Flex business partners. Last Mile Product and Tech Partners, Business Operations, Driver Support Operations, Legal and other stakeholder teams as needed.

About the team

The Flex Compliance team ensures we comply with independent contractor laws in all geos in which Flex operates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

– Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

– Experience working in Compliance

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
