As Sr. Program Manager – Global Compliance, you will be responsible for partnering with global teams including Legal, Public Policy and Public Relations to evaluate and assess program, compliance and regulatory risks. You will work with business leaders and partner teams to identify opportunities to mitigate business risk by designing, developing and ultimately helping launch new compliance focused, driver obsessed products and features in coordination with other product, business and tech teams. The successful candidate will propose innovative approaches and strategies throughout the business life-cycle, while also being able to monitor and improve existing compliance frameworks across regions.
You will be obsessed with the DSP experience, ensuring that we are developing the right strategies to keep them happy and run their businesses. You will support the team to move fast toward the north star vision, while remaining nimble and showing great bias for action in a quickly evolving business.
Key job responsibilities
• Partnering with Amazon legal, business, and engineering stakeholders to identify regulatory, compliance, or other risks
• Reporting current state and potential changes to the status quo to Sr. Leaders on a regular cadence
• Developing a deep understanding of the business and internal programs, processes, and systems and identifying discrete products or features to improve our program to address risks
• Recognizing patterns and developing short – mid- and long-term strategic plans to address those patterns
• Anticipating challenges/obstacles the business would encounter while expanding geographies.
• Thinking Big – and injecting new, innovative ways of thinking into the program

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
– Law degree or experience with compliance or public policy in technology, infrastructure or transportation industries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
