Sr Program Manager – Search, Private Brands

Looking for an opportunity to manage a program that identifies and scales insights across the business to deliver outsized impact? The Amazon Private Brand’s Marketing & Discovery Analytics team has recently stood up a team dedicated to improving our customer’s experience with our products in the Amazon stores, and specifically, the core channel customers use to discover and purchase Private Brand products. We are seeking a leader that will help the organization understand how we can improve the customer experience and maximize our performance. This role’s initial focus areas will be centered around initiatives that help the Private Brand organization understand what business levers drive customer engagement within Search and how we can improve the identified levers to improve the customer experience. The leader will own and manage Test & Learns that allow our business to quickly test hypotheses, measure the performance, and consolidate insights from each test. The leader will constantly iterate on the Test & Learn design and improve our ability to efficiently adjust inputs to enable faster and more actionable tests over time.

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit that strives in high ownership, highly ambiguous spaces that require large cross-functional partnerships. The Sr. Program Manager will be analytically driven to comprehend results of experiments and understand the customer impact associated with potential opportunities in the space. He/she will also be comfortable partnering with multiple teams inside and outside the Private Brands organization to accomplish their objectives, requiring strong collaboration to scale learnings and drive an impact across the business.

Key job responsibilities

Own Search Test & Learn Mechanism:
• Define and manage test & learn roadmap.
• Execute test & learns in partnership with business teams owning the potential levers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes to change inputs.
• Partner with tech team to improve optimization tool based on user feedback.

Manage external vendors that can support channel improvement:
• Perform Assess-The-Landscape of potential vendors.
• Onboard new suppliers to Amazon.
• Own relationship with external vendors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
