SR. MGR, SLED PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
The Role:
The Sr. Mgr., SLED Programs, Sales Operations plays a critical role in enabling our sellers, and partners to win against key competitors across key vertical markets, that Juniper Network serves and reports to the Global Sales Operations Director. This is an individual contributor role that requires strong business acumen, keen attention to detail and ability to understand sales and business objectives. This role requires an entrepreneurial and creative skilled approach in order to work collaboratively with the Field sales and Channel sales teams, as well as key cross-functional business including, Corporate Marketing, Human Resources, Product Management, Legal and Finance.
In this role, you will own the orchestration and program management of the North America K-12 /E-Rate Program, State & Local Governments, and Healthcare and being responsible for driving the SLED strategy and direction for Juniper, as well as project manage supporting K-12/ E-Rate initiatives.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, clear process for engagement with stakeholders, clarify intent and goals, establish strategic imperatives, etc.
- Facilitate interlocks to ensure consistency in goal definition and measurement amongst cross-functional teams’ and the sales organization’s goals, initiatives, market understanding, account potential, and partner strategy.
- Drive and manage key SLED sales program success metrics and reporting
- Identify gaps and analyze sales needs in existing program processes and proposing solutions

- Provide coordination and development of training curriculum for internal sellers and partners on the SLED market, programs and processes
- Compile and present quarterly metrics and reporting on programs
- Serve as an active participant and observer in core team meetings, as needed
- Acquires and retains broad understanding of legal, bid, contract management, and E-Rate processes to mitigate risk to company
- Develops a practical knowledge of Juniper’s offerings including systems/software, hardware, and services and be able to present at internal and partner trainings
- Responsible for inside and field sales trainings on E-Rate program, pricing, and processes
- Lead cross-functional teams to define and execute E-Rate program strategy
- Participate in and present on sales leadership strategy sessions and staff calls
- Design and launch annual Sales incentive programs and channel programs, including gaining executive level approvals, maintaining tracking fields in CRM, trainings, dashboard development, and coordinating payouts
- Partner cross functionally with Marketing, IT, Operations, Channel, and Sales to assist and execute programs to enhance sales efficiencies and enhance the customer experience
- Participate in best practices and sales playbook development and other content creation for SLED programs and initiatives
Who Are You:
Your Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in the technology industry
- Experience in effective customer and sales relationship management
- BA or BS, with MBA or equivalent experience preferred

- Ability to travel >25%
Minimum Salary: $114,000.00
Maximum Salary:$174,800.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $114,000.00 and $174,800.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
