The Global Communications and Community Impact (GCCI) team at Amazon is seeking an experienced and creative program manager who is passionate about process improvement and excited about applying their skills to help improve operational efficiency, collaboration, and the employee experience for this high-performing, global professional communications organization. You are an experienced project or program manager with a proven track record of delivering results for a large global organization. In this role, you will work on a variety of organizational programs, processes, and mechanisms that help improve the day-to-day operational rhythm of the organization.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify and implement new or innovative processes that improve operational efficiency and employee productivity.
• Invent and implement mechanisms or simplify existing ones with the goal of improving daily business operations of the GCCI organization at Amazon.
• Identify success measures and routinely inspect the quality and effectiveness of established processes in order to continually drive improvement and efficiencies.
• Work collaboratively across multiple senior leaders and stakeholders within their teams to deliver solutions that scale and benefit the entire organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– Excellent written and verbal communications skills
– Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills
– Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills
– Ability to work with all levels of employees, including senior leaders
– Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail, organization, and tactical sequencing
– Process design and improvement training or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
