TITLE: Senior Project Manager
LOCATION: Washington, D.C. and various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
DUTIES: Responsible for managing high complexity projects of large and complex components of a larger program. Use advance knowledge of project management processes and controls to accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities with some indirect supervision from PMO Director. Conduct regular analytical and metrics-based reporting to other staff, Executive Committee, and stakeholders. Lead finance technology programs and use knowledge of financial systems to serve the finance business community and to interact with technical solution providers. Manage all aspects of technology for the order to cash organization, which support Finance Controller, FP&A, Treasurer, and the EPMO roadmap of technology projects for both hardware and software deployments, finance specific business rules, documentation of requirements, testing, integrations with systems, APIs, platforms, networking, and communications layers.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field followed by six (6) years of experience in the job offered or any job title related Project Management Specialist occupation. Experience must include each of the following: 1) Managing complex cross-functional projects in a highly matrixed environment; 2) Cross-project/program dependency identification and management; 3) Presenting complex information and responding to needs of a large and visible project or program; 4) Networking with internal and external stakeholders and leveraging relationships to resolve complex project issues; 5) Working across teams with varying objectives; 6) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project); 7) Coordinating multiple departments, vendors, and assets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of major scope milestones; 8) Establishing collaborative partnership among stakeholders to enable scoping, financial, and resource decisions; 9) Providing financial project performance and forecasting reports to senior executives and government regulators; and 10) Identifying and evaluating risks associated with project activities and working across organization to establish and monitor risk mitigation plans. Remote work permitted in accordance with standard company policy. SALARY: $137,197 per year
