Position: Sr. Project Manager, App Dev
Duration: 6 months – Contract to hire
Location: Miramar, FL. – 3 days onsite- Mon- Wed
Compensation: $65/hour
Looking for:
- Experienced application PM that has managed large projects end-to-end.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain project budget.
- Identify milestone and build the timeline.
- Collaborates with the Product Owner and Development Team
- Facilitates Scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint backlog grooming, sprint retrospection.
- Trains and coaches the Scrum Team on Agile/Scrum practices and ensures Agile/Scrum processes are implemented correctly.
- Identify, track, and help remove impediments.
- Protects the project team from internal and external distractions.
- Schedule project meetings, and production of meeting agendas, briefing materials, and notes.
- Manage client relationship and set appropriate expectations.
- Project and manage risk.
- Communicate relevant information and project status.
- Track action items and records management.
- Work with others to develop, improve, and standardize project-related processes.
- Support cross-departmental and cross-divisional activities as related to projects.
- Recognize and escalate issues potentially requiring upper management awareness and input.
- Validates the project progress performed by team per client guidelines, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business or related field and 5-7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- We would like end-to-end experience with large projects.
- Would like a PM that is comfortable with managing the budget.
- Must be able to travel.- minimal at least 1 week
- Must know MS Project.
- Nice to have, Jira, PMP cert, CSM cert, cruise line experience.
- If they are not PMP certified, then they should know most of the PMP terminology.
