The site CI Project Manager will work cross functionally at a manufacturing site and across the manufacturing network to: (1) solve systemic manufacturing issues by using proven problem solving techniques, (2) implement Lean Manufacturing programs that drive efficiency improvements and decrease variability, (3) lead and coach others to use data and statistics to find the issues and then solve the issues, and (4) create a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.

As a CI Manager, you will…

  • Lead and coach small and large improvement projects that impact key deliverables
  • Lead and coach the implementation and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing programs
  • Lead and coach using data and statistics to find issues and then drive solutions

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications (7 years)
  • Working across functional areas to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit/department objectives (7 years)
  • Facilitate large and small Kaizen events to determine root cause(s) and execute action plan
  • Building, leading and mentoring individuals and teams (5 years)
  • Managing complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects (5 years)
  • Requirements gathering and analysis (5 years)
  • Mentoring other project managers in program and project management (2 years)
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to VP’s, Directors and Manufacturing personnel
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams to implement and sustain new programs and processes
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Change management skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members
  • Proficiency in Power Bi, Tableau and Mini Tab
  • Ability to define objectives, scope and resources for projects extending beyond a department or business unit
  • General knowledge of business unit, department or functional area’s processes and systems
  • Understanding of business unit, department or functional area’s goals and practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills using a structured methodical process
  • Ability to establish cross functional, collaborative relationships with business partners
  • Knowledge of basic business principles and company goals and objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, from initial justification through implementation and evaluation
  • Ability to lead complex program and project efforts to completion
  • Ability to use data to drive action and sustainable change in a manufacturing environment (design of experiments & hypothesis testing)
