What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Deep working knowledge of and proven experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience in building Elastic Cluster and Elastic API Integration
- Advanced Knowledge of Elasticsearch index configuration options, sharding, aliases
- Advanced Knowledge of working with Elasticsearch queries
- Experience with performance tuning Elasticsearch in large clusters.
- Develop technical specifications gathering and writing as needed to maintain system.
- Expected to conduct system analysis and development, with limited support from professional staff, to keep our systems current with changing technologies.
- Analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems.
- Design software or customize software for eCommerce web and mobile site, with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
- Responsible for developing new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changes to assure production of a quality product.
- Maintain working knowledge of advancing technologies relating to Elastic Search.
- Ability to prioritize, execute tasks, and deliver results on time.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
What you’ll bring
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 8+ years of experience in application development using java and j2ee.
- 6+ years strong hands on knowledge with full implementation of Elasticsearch
- 3+ years of experience in developing customer facing web applications.
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience with Web Sphere Commerce 7.x / 8.x / 9.x or similar technologies in the eCommerce space like Shopify, Magento Commerce, BigCommerce, Oracle Commerce, etc.
- Experience in architecting, designing, developing solutions using Elastic search
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Java
- Expert in Object-oriented programming concepts
- Quick learner with curiosity & passion to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and being a team player
- Strong software engineering design skills, ability to independently design and implement software engineering projects as well as work as a part of the team.

$104,300-$173,800. This salary range is specific to Colorado and New York and may differ in other locations. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week.
