The Senior SQA plays a key role in the testing of robotic systems for medical applications. She/he will create and review test protocols, perform manual testing on the hardware system, and mentor more junior members of the software test team. He/she will collect and analyze data to verify, validate and measure software product quality and performance throughout the software development lifecycle. We are looking for a candidate that can work independently and function well within a team, and is flexible, self-motivated, curious and passionate about revolutionizing the world of medical robotics.
Responsibilities:
- Work with software and other engineers (mechanical, electrical, systems, system integration) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing and testing software for medical robotic applications
- Perform hands-on system testing of complex electro-mechanical systems
- Participate in software implementation, build and release activities
- Participate in design review discussions and code reviews
- Work independently to create, maintain, and execute automation and manual test plans for verification
- Drive the SW/FW test/verification process to create, review, maintain, execute the SW Verification Test Protocols.
- Create traceability between test plans and formal requirement documents.

Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent is required
- 5+ years of software testing experience is required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills is required
- Strong organization, time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, C#, C++/C is required
- Experience in a highly regulated industry or medical devices is preferred
- Experience testing complex medical devices or software is preferred
- Knowledge of Linux/QNX operating system is preferred
- Experience with Design Control FDA 21CFR820.30 and QMS ISO 138485 is preferred
- Experience complex medical devices SW verification standard IEC 62304 is preferred
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 10%, international and domestic, is required

$116,800 – $175,200 a year
Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position’s total compensation package. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan.
