Job Summary:
The Compliance Coordinator will report to the Manager of Compliance. Primarily, the Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Marketing, Sales and Collection departments to help ensure company compliance with regulatory and brand requirements, laws and rules, as well as participating in special projects as directed.
Job Description:
- Build and develop relationships with marketing, sales and collection functions to identify risks, solve problems, improve processes, and achieve goals.
- Develop a working knowledge of FCC, FTC and State consumer protection regulations (telemarketing, email marketing, and advertising).
- Interpret regulatory rules and assist in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance for the company and its partners.
- Coordinate reporting on identified federal regulations, marketing guidelines, and company policies.
- Review recorded calls as necessary.
- Examine marketing creatives and advertisements for federal rules and guidelines.
- Perform due diligence and regular reviews of marketing campaigns and partner onboarding documentation.
- Assist with audits and investigations, and report on suspected non-compliance.
- Foster, maintain and grow relationships with key business partners.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with conducting thorough research, documenting findings and producing summarized reporting.
- Knowledge of TCPA, TSR, FTC advertising guidelines and FDCPA a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with effective organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage and complete assignments within strict deadlines.
- Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Must be able to sit without interruption for up to 2 hours. May be required to sit 6-8 hours per day.
- Vision must be sufficient to read text and view a computer monitor for 6-8 hours per day.
The pay range for this role is $13.88- $23.13 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays
