Amazon’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is looking for a leader to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Supply Chain Innovation. The position is designed to ideate, implement, and create cutting edge supply chain products and solutions that would create seamless flow of packages across Amazon Supply Chain. This is a high impact role with an opportunity to influence one of the most high visibility and high impact areas.
This role will also be responsible for designing, evaluating, and implementing the US storage and distribution network connectivity decisions. This individual is also expected to own incubation and execution of innovative supply chain management concepts. The goal is to improve and enhance the Amazon fulfillment network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and skillful in formulating data-driven decisions, comfortable navigating systems, and self-directive in the face of ambiguity to make progress.
Key job responsibilities
– Build mechanisms and define metrics to continuously evaluate and improve inbound and outbound connectivity of the storage and distribution network.
– Partner with Product Manager, Research Scientist, Operations, and Finance to evaluate different connectivity strategies.
– Identify process gaps through deep dive of metrics and make operational improvements (e.g., automation, self-service, etc.).
– Conduct independent research to identify supply chain inefficiencies, recommend solves, and influence partner teams to prioritize and execute.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– 5+ years of supply chain experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
