Sr. Integrated Naval Systems Design Engineer
Pittsfield, MA
Contract Position
$41.54/Hour
We have a 28 year history of continued service with the Aerospace and Defense Industry highlighted through the care for each of our employees and our clients missions. This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems. Their mission is creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military. Responsibilities:
- Senior member of a cross functional team responsible for ensuring our superior designs are being developed and delivered to our customers on time, on budget, and are of the highest technical quality.
- Be part of our vigilant effort to keep already fielded systems running smoothly and performing their security mission.
- Architect, design, and/or maintain enterprise Information Technology systems
- Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s security
Qualifications:
- Bahelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineerig or Mathematics Field combined with 2 + years of relevant work experience; or Master’s Degree.
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
- Agile experience preferred.
- Experience with Systems Engineering principles and concepts
- Familiarity with Information Technology technical standards
- Experience in Windows and server administration
- Experience in Network engineering
- Experience with Virtualization (VMware-preferred)
- Cyber security and related tools, such as intrusion detection and prevention
- Certifications are preferred, and could include Network+, Security+, MCSE, MCSA, VCA, VCP, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, RHCSA, etc.
