Amazon Pharmacy is a full service pharmacy delivering medications and clinical support to our customers. Our Technical Program Management team drives product and service implementation to support our vision of delivering the best possible pharmacy experience to as many customers as possible. Technical Program Managers at Amazon Pharmacy are responsible for managing one or more critical programs, successfully delivering high-quality product functionality on-time to meet our pharmacy business and operations goals.
As part of our team, you will have the following responsibilities:
– Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to build and execute against program roadmap.
– Work directly with external technology providers, customers or partners depending on requirements.
– Make connections (to people and/or technologies) and ensure the right people are part of the conversation at the right time.
– Focus on the larger business and technology picture (i.e., customer experience, processes, opportunities, and/or problems to be solved).
– Manage the overall schedule, proactively mitigate risks, communicate program status and keep the scope of engineering efforts under control.
– Accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., “Path to green”), and escalating appropriately.
– Deeply understand the operational, business and technical requirements of the solutions being built and drive the right outcomes.
– Consider the needs of engineers (who have to build, maintain, and extend features for the life of the system).
– Develop scalable and effective mechanisms for managing complex programs across multiple teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 3+ years of software development experience
– 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
