As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will join a team of Identity and Access Management (IAM) professionals as you develop and execute critical security initiatives across Amazon’s corporate IAM space. As you drive programs that improve access management infrastructure across a complex global corporate environment, you will engage with technical stakeholders to identify risks, bottlenecks and blockers, as well as build consensus with partners, and escalate with management when needed. You will be responsible for developing communications mechanisms and repeatable metrics to inform senior leadership of progress against program milestones and help staff to prioritize resourcing against ongoing initiatives.
Data-driven decisions are important to Amazon. You will draw heavily on your experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to create compelling written and verbal communications to peer teams and leadership at all levels.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 7+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
– Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
– 3+ years of software development experience
– 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
