Ben Bridge Jeweler’s Corporate office in Seattle is looking to hire a Senior UX Designer to join the E-Commerce Team.
Position Overview:
As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and shaping user experiences for our products and services. You will lead the UX design process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide strategic insights to drive the development of user-centered solutions. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and information architecture will be instrumental in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and seamless experiences for our users.
Responsibilities:
- Lead UX Design Strategy: Develop and execute the UX design strategy, considering user needs, business goals, and technological constraints.
- User Research: Conduct user research activities, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Information Architecture: Create and refine information architecture, site maps, and interaction flows to ensure intuitive and effective user experiences.
- Interaction Design: Design wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups that illustrate user flows, interactions, and interface elements.
- Visual Design: Collaborate with visual designers to ensure the visual design aligns with the overall UX strategy, branding guidelines, and user preferences.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, provide design recommendations, and ensure a cohesive user experience across platforms.
- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and iterate on the user experience based on user feedback.
- Accessibility and Inclusivity: Ensure that designs comply with accessibility standards and promote inclusivity, considering diverse user needs and perspectives.
- UX Documentation: Create and maintain UX documentation, including design guidelines, interaction patterns, and style guides, to facilitate collaboration and consistency.
- Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices, and actively share knowledge and insights with the design team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX design projects across different platforms and devices.
- Expertise in UX Design Tools: Proficient in using industry-standard UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, or Adobe XD.
- User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with a strong focus on user research, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex user requirements and business goals into effective design solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for creating pixel-perfect designs that deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and quickly adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Continuous Learning: A growth mindset with a desire to continuously learn and improve skills, staying updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques.
Range: $81,600 to $102,000
Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
