Sr. Visual Designer, Amazon Style

Our team is looking for a Sr. Designer to bring an emerging brand to life through vibrant, high-touch graphic expression and creative campaign strategy and development. The ideal candidate effectively interprets creative briefs and develops bar-raising creative for visual campaigns across a variety of offerings, audiences, and channels. This role requires a high level of ownership, customer obsession, and attention to detail, with a passion for immersive visual storytelling. The ideal candidate is able to partner with stakeholders to drive creative strategy and turn concepts into robust cross-platform executions. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary creative team to develop campaign strategy and visual design.
  • Lead creative development of innovative marketing campaigns, from concept to delivery across digital and physical platforms.
  • Work with internal partners and vendors to manage print and digital production that supports brand and marketing teams.
  • Manage projects in a timely fashion with multiple deliverables for projects on competing timelines.
  • Prepare design layouts, specifications and die-lines/mechanicals for print.
  • Influence customer perceptions and behavior with innovative visual storytelling.
  • Quickly develop concept mockups to visualize new ideas in context.
  • Effectively communicate concepts and design recommendations to leadership in both written and verbal communication.
  • Possess impeccable attention to detail.
  • Bring a deep understanding of digital and new media to your work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of design experience
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators
  • Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
  • Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
