WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Case Manager assists in providing the most accessible and highest quality comprehensive customer service to individuals as they re-enter into the community. In this position you will act as the liaison providing care and training. This position works to connect Spokane Regional Re-Entry Center clients to available resources within the community, accurately collects client information and demographics, and assists service seekers in creating SMART goals to inspire healthy and productive living. The RE-Entry Center works side-by-side with the community to take on the biggest, most complex issues facing those re-entering society after incarnation. We know that when people don’t have their most basic needs met, longer-term goals, like finding financial stability are out of reach. When we work together, we make a lasting, sustainable impact on our community.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
- four-year degree in a social, human services, criminal justice or behavioral science program from an accredited college or university. Work experience may be substituted for academic studies exchanging one year of work experience in a related field for one year of academic education. Total work experience needed in lieu of the combination of education and work experience is five years.
- 1 year of relevant experience working in a Human Services, corrections, or community based services.
- Ability to quickly learn internal software applications.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite products.
WHAT YOU’LL PREFERABLY BRIG
- Two years of experience working with formerly incarcerated client population and/or person who formerly received mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.
- Knowledge of job analysis, local job market, assessment tools, social service organizations and job seeking skills.
- Course work, experience, or training in human development, chemical dependency, group dynamics, residential treatment or related disciplines.
