Arcadis is looking for a Staff Bridge Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia as part of our Mobility Business Area.

Role description:
You will deliver “best in class” technical and innovative solutions to our clients in the design, delivery, and management of critical structural resources for our State, municipal and design-build clients. In this position, you will oversee in the technical design and plan production for projects of varying sizes. You will have the opportunity to mentor and direct junior engineers and CADD staff.
Role Accountabilities
- Design of new bridges, bridge widenings, retaining walls and other transportation-related structures.
- Oversee and review work of junior engineers and CAD staff.
- Take responsibility for the production of analysis and design calculations, models, drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure all elements of the project are considered in design.
- Meet schedule requirements for deliverables and monitor task budgets
Required Qualifications
- 4 or more years of professional work experience with a focus on transportation structures
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- EI/EIT Certification
- Experience with AASHTO design codes
Key Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency with relevant bridge design software including Bentley/LEAP/Open Bridge Designer, MathCAD, Microsoft Office products, and MicroStation.
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions
- Ability to work with little direct oversight
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Direct and mentor junior level staff inside of the project team
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with advanced digital tools and design, such as parametric design, automation, coding, 3D BIM software
- MS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience with GDOT and FDOT bridge policies

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $106,000.
