What you’ll do…
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeler to create and maintain data models for our modern data systems on Azure and GCP clouds. In this role, you will work closely with data architects, engineers, and business analysts to design and implement database structures, define data flows, and ensure data quality and integrity across multiple cloud platforms.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for our Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business analysts to understand and gather business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into data models that are designed for flexibility, scalability, and performance.
  • Provide data model guidance and recommendations to the development teams to optimize database and query performance.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate data modeling techniques and tools for different use-cases and cloud platforms.
  • Analyze and resolve data-related issues, including data inconsistencies, missing data, or data quality issues.
  • Keep up to date with the latest data modeling trends and best practices, particularly in the Azure and GCP ecosystems.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in data modeling, preferably in both Azure and GCP cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, including normalization, denormalization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Knowledge of various data modeling techniques (e.g., relational, dimensional, and NoSQL).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one popular database management system (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Cosmos DB, Google BigQuery, and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining large-scale, complex data models in a cloud environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00-$192,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications…
