About the Role
Our delivery team is hiring a Staff Product Designer! As a Product Designer on Uber Eats you’ll tackle complex problems that often span across the Eats marketplace. We collaborate with engineers, product managers, and some of the world’s best designers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. In this role, you’ll work to impact and evolve our design framework and shape the way that we work and collaborate with each other.
What We Do
– Create high-quality solutions that improve on the Eats experience
– Identify future opportunities to tackle customer problems end to end
– Build wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs based on our UI framework to solve difficult UX problems
– Design systems to make simple, elegant experiences based on our complex logistics and machine learning technology
– Present work in a range of mediums and fidelities throughout the design process.
– Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality.
Basic Qualifications
– 8+ years of Product Design experience
Preferred Qualifications
– A portfolio showing your high quality, thoughtful UI and UX work
– Experience working with qualitative and quantitative data that ground your decisions in real data, marketplace needs & norms, and business objectives and key results.
– Experience building for a consumer audience
– Experience in e-commerce space
– Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and levels
– Examples of developing and conveying ideas clearly in a written and visual format-clearly demonstrate how your designs tackle customers’ problems or contribute to their lives
– Ability to facilitate team discussions, help drive toward decisions, and make vital tradeoff decisions.
– Experience building and shipping products for Android, iOS, and web
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $220,000 per year – $244,000 per year.
