Staff Program Manager – Commercial Aircraft

As a Staff Program Manager, you will manage one or more Commercial Aircraft Programs and have responsibility and accountability for overall program management process execution performance (quality, cost, schedule, delivery & efficiency). You will be the single point of contact for the customer regarding all aspects of the program and work closely with other program management professionals, engineers, supply chain, operations, contracts, finance, and quality specialists.
Here’s what you’ll work on:
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management all program activities
- Achieve program / project objectives through effective application of program management principles within the confines of scope schedule and budget defined by the program / project sponsor
- Sustain and expand the organizations book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns
- Ensure proper coordination between all program elements by developing program plans and schedules and to ensure compliance with program plans by monitoring the status of cost, schedule, and task completion
- Achieve timely resolution of outstanding issues through the conductance of effective day-to-day communications with the customer, Moog management, and Moog functional organizations
- Optimize the program/project likelihood of success through the appropriate application of the following processes: Project Planning; Project Monitoring and Control; Organization Management; Change Management; and Risk Management
Here’s what you’ll need to be considered for this exciting opportunity:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial, or alternatively in Business.
- At least 6+ years of relevant Program Management experience and a minimum of 9+ years of work experience (inclusive of Program Management experience)
- Ability to lead, organize, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of project management tools including Earned Value Management
- Experience with flight actuation systems, control systems, or electronic systems
- Experience managing multiple programs
- Experience and proficiency with MS Project
- Ability to lead, organize, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills
- PMI PMP certification is a plus

Salary
- The base pay range for this opportunity is $123,032 to $218,649 per year
The base salary range represents the low and high-end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
