The AdTech Quality Engineering team builds scalable testing solutions for the growing Marketing and Advertising organization. We orchestrate marketing campaigns that speak to millions of daily shoppers. Our work spans the digital and physical space and combines the work of numerous internal teams and external advertising and media agencies. Our marketing teams work together to show our customers how they can save money and live better.

What you’ll do:

As a Staff QA engineer on our team, you will lead the test efforts of Walmart products on one or more platforms. You will not only be working with fantastic technical leads and developers, engineers to lead test effort on multiple mobile platforms but also with great partners in product management, UX (interaction and visual), project management and beyond.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience leading testing efforts of multiple medium-to-large scale projects on the web or mobile platforms
  • Experience planning test schedules and driven execution activities with the help of junior testers and outside vendors and have consistently delivered product on time and with high quality
  • A belief in providing clear visibility on your plans, communicating issues/risks and progress to the team and leadership team to resolve quality issues on time and keep the project schedule on track
  • A passion for going above and beyond test execution and participate in improving test processes, proposing new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product
  • You have driven test automation efforts using open-source testing tools and have implemented test frameworks on web or native platforms
  • You keep up with changes in field of mobile technology and resolve testing challenges by applying them in day-to-day activities
  • You like to participate in building and improving test automation tools utilized by the engineering team
  • You enjoy working in small teams, solving problems together

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of leading testing efforts in large-scale web based and / or e-commerce applications
  • 3+ years of experience on implementing or participating in building test frameworks on web or mobile platforms
  • Experience leading test activities in Scrum or Agile methodologies
  • Experience testing APIs implemented using REST on Java platform
  • Excellent knowledge of internet technologies, such as AJAX, HTTP, HTML/XML, Java script , CSS, XSL/XSLT, XPATH
  • Experience with environment configurations, defect tracking, build or release management and debugging tools
  • Experience automating tests on web, mobile or services platform using open-source software – Selenium, Appium, web driver, Robotium

The annual salary range for this position is $144,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives
