THE ROLE

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination of staffing, new hire processing, and timekeeping functions. The position is responsible for assisting with the staffing of part-time seasonal staff and consistently finding new and creative ways to attract staff including partnerships with local and community organizations. The Staffing Coordinator will report to the Staffing Manager, with oversight from the Human Resources Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Review applications and resumes and schedule interviews with hiring managers and or HR for final hiring decisions
  • Manage the uniform process for staff, including ordering, issuing, and maintaining inventory
  • Build and maintain relationships with all surrounding communities and employment agencies
  • Develop and implement new staffing techniques to recruit quality and quantity of staff
  • Support employee onboarding by explaining program details, meeting with new employees, scheduling them for training classes, and other programs as needed
  • Process new hire paperwork and submissions of background checks
  • Monitor the progress of new hires through the onboarding process, working with the Payroll Clerk and department managers when new hires are cleared to start working
  • Perform reference checks as needed
  • Assist the Staffing Manager in recruiting and onboarding new Non-profit Organizations
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Support employee check-in on event days
  • Ensure compliance with Legends operating standards and HR policies to maintain brand integrity
  • Other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary $23.00/hourly, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
