Staffing Manager

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an energetic, proactive, and agile individual to join our dynamic and evolving PMO team supporting a government customer. The candidate will operate in a supervisory role responsible for the successful administration, development, and maintenance of the staffing lifecycle, day-to-day operations staffing support, and working with the team on staffing innovation through current policy and processes in a fluid environment. And, working closely with the PMO and functional team to ensure the staffing lifecycle remains in constant, forward moving motion. Overall, customer expertise, strong organizational skills, ability to establish and continue to build relationships, and concisely synthesize data to meet customer expectations are key attributes for success! Qualifications

The candidate will support the PMO with the following activities:

  • Working with PMO and TA teams to synthesize and apply customer and Peraton requirements for seamless and timely staffing operations.
  • Developing, deploying, maintaining, and updating technical solutions
  • With the PMO team, engaging with customer representatives to ensure staffing solutions and expectations, current and future, are meeting their needs.
  • Engaging with customer representatives, subcontract companies, and candidates to ensure access and usability for end-to-end staffing support.
  • Works directly with Program Manager to ensure program staffing issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Leads program’s talent acquisition process to identify viable candidates for hire.
  • Analyzes overall program resources to identify shortfalls and deficiencies.
  • Works directly with HR, Security, and other Functional Areas to completed on-boarding activities for new personnel.
  • Assists with onboarding activities, to include integrating new employees with identified team/manager.
  • Processes hiring, clearance, badging, and system access actions; schedules re-familiarization and role-based training; and compiles Onboarding Packet.
  • Coordinates with security, human resources, functional managers, Peraton leadership and the client to ensure the new hire has the information and tools needed to become a productive member of the team.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; authoring and discussing performance appraisals with employees; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 – $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
