Job Summary:
Cleans and sanitizes all dishes and silverware to be used by guests of the casino. Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment.
Qualifications:
• Six months previous kitchen worker experience is required.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Replenishes assigned station with hot and cold foods by transporting prepared food from the kitchen in a timely manner.
- Replenishes all non food items as needed.
- Clean and stock supplies, such as, plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils.
- Lifts bus tubs to bus carts and pushes carts to the Kitchen.
- Cleans food serving areas, including counters, utensils and food trays.
- Must be able to maintain the proper level of sanitation in accordance with health dept. and Stewarding standards in all kitchen outlets.
- Cleans and sanitizes all china and flatware.
- Must be able to clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
- Stocks supplies (plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils).
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout the kitchen areas.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to tolerate hot temperatures in excess of 115 degrees near dish machine, when assigned for entire shift.
- Must be able to use the following chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen areas: bleach, pine sol, oven cleaner, etc.
- Must be able to operate dish machine.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to push carts, pull, reach, bend, stoop, and stack racks of dishes and silverware.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Pay: Depending on experience, starts at $18.50 per hour
