School of Natural Resources
Job Description
The School of Natural Resources (SNR) is seeking is seeking an experienced professional who will provide oversight for all media in SNR and also assist with student recruitment for SNR. The successful candidate will create postings and media for the School’s specific platforms (Facebook, YouTube, etc.) to broaden the exposure of SNR, especially to potential students. Duties will include:
- Monitor the social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) for the School of Natural Resources and its constituent entities, both faculty and centers (Center for Agroforestry, Missouri Climate Center, etc.)
- Create educational and recruiting materials (posts, short videos, etc.) for our various social media platforms, including a “Everyday Adventure” series of videos on natural resource science-related topics is for K-12 students.
- Assist the SNR Undergraduate Programs Office with student undergraduate recruiting at in-person events (4-H, FFA, science fairs, Missouri Academy of Science, etc.) Assist the SNR Director of Graduate Studies with Tiger View and other graduate student recruiting events and venues.
- Carry out programs that aim to improve retention and graduation rates across all three programs.
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics that drive strategy.
- Serve as a liaison to CAFNR Communications regarding content on the SNR website.
- Assist with the creation of the SNR Reader .
- Work with KBIA to supply them with SNR interviewees; write short scripts to highlight various elements of SNR.

Salary Range: $17.96 – $25.57

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
