About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for achieving company objectives within the southeast-based regional chains and national accounts for Treasury Americas. Primary responsibilities are to implement national and develop local sales strategy, promotional planning, and trade relationships and to deliver TAM’s depletion ambitions. The Manager will work closely with Treasury Americas Strategic Account Director, Treasury Americas Commercial Managers, regional chain buying teams, and distributor counterparts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Account Management
- Facilitate the development and execution strategy of Southeast based regional chains and manage implementation of the following:
- Annual growth targets
- New Item Reviews
- National and locally customized Program Plans
- Planner Submissions
- Portfolio Management (including allocation management and at-risk action planning)
- Manage market driving initiatives.
- Manage billings and budgets for each account.
- Annual Business Reviews
- Execute local and national strategy for national accounts.
- Lead annual account planning for assigned accounts establishing the key sales and execution strategies.
- Develop & execute local marketing plans that allocate resources to drive market share, distribution, volume, and profitability.
- Translate consumer and account trends into actionable insights.
- Drive the appropriate internal processes to leverage customer opportunities.
- Identify channel white space and leverage existing portfolio and/or leverage new product development (NPD) ideas to fill the gaps.
Communication
- Communicate and collaborate with all key Stakeholders in marketing, finance, commercial strategy, supply, and the Treasury America Divisions.
- Coordinate with Treasury Americas demand planning team to manage information flow regarding products, packaging, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with Public Relations team in the planning of event-based activities and media relations.
About You
- 5-10 years previous professional experience in sales, marketing, or business management, or equivalent required.
- You have experience of managing chain accounts, specifically throughout the Southeast region.
- You have beverage-alcohol experience (desired); CPG experience a plus.
- You have a Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have strong persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to speak before large audiences both internally and externally.
- You possess strong negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to influence and motivate others to meet objectives under sometimes-restrictive timelines.
- You have a proven track record of building and maintaining key trade account relationships to drive TWE strategy in the market.
- You can work independently and drive regional strategy.
- You lead with data and have strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop customer / distributor strategies, programs, and promotions based on competitive data to meet overall company objectives while meeting customer needs.
- You are organized and can manage multiple tasks at once while balancing priorities.
- You are passionate; knowledge of wine, wine terms, and growing techniques not required but helpful. Passion for wine and the ability to continuously learn new wines and brands and represent effectively to customers required.
- You are computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), desktop publishing programs. Experience with Essbase and Pricer preferred.
- Must be a person of high integrity and commitment and possess a strong work ethic.
- Significant travel within assigned territory required.
- Valid clean driver’s license required.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $105,000 to $135,000 per year plus bonus. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Florida. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
