Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH is looking for an experienced Strategy Analystto join our team.
Our Team is unique in that it has elements of marketing, operations, strategy, and analytics. The department is highly visible with the Executive Leadership team and drives multiple strategic initiatives focused on retaining and monetizing DISH’s existing customer base.
Our team focuses on using advanced analytics to create the strategies that retain and engage DISH and Sling customers. Our analysts have a huge impact on the performance of the broader business.
- With a focus on optimizing DISH and Sling profitability, develop and drive strategic initiatives using a project management mindset (data gathering, analysis, recommendation, implementation, performance reporting)
- Use coding, analytics, and advanced modeling to drive projects and to contribute as a key consultant to stakeholders through top-tier storytelling
- Highly visible role that provides recommendations to company executives, including the President of DISH TV
- Partner cross-functionally across departments to gain alignment and prioritization on strategic initiatives
- Think creatively, be proactive, and take ownership to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue and cash flow, and reduce subscriber churn for DISH and Sling
- Become an expert in the Sling business, using creativity and business acumen to generate bold ideas and put them into practice.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year) with interest that demonstrates logical thinking
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a data-driven analytics or strategy role
Skills and qualifications:
- Experience building models, forecasts, budget, and dynamic reports with SQL, Tableau, and Excel that provide meaningful direction and insight
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations tailored for a specific audience
- Excellent project management skills
Salary Range
Compensation: $65,800.00/Year – $94,000.00/Year
